Is there an optimal method for posting the Profile screen, etc. to the forum discussions?

I tried once to do a screen capture, then save as a .bmp file. But, even though it was a relative small graphic, I got the message that it was too large. So, I had to cut it in half to post it.

Obviously, other people are posting much larger graphic files. I wonder how this is done.

Jeff,

I am using PNG format. One idea, if you have eSignal, save using their little camera as a PNG file, and use a scaling of 60%. A second idea, do a <Print Screen> and past it into something like Paint Shop Pro works well. If you want to make that file smaller, zoom out a couple times to make that chart smaller within the PSP, and <Print Screen> again, "Crop" the chart so you are only showing the bare minimum to make the file as small as possible, then save that smaller file as a PNG. That is a couple ways I might do a chart to be attached.

You also have the option of saving an image as a PNG within Microsoft Paint which comes standard with Windows where Paint Shop Pro does not. It's located at Start - All Programs - Accessories - Paint. You would then paste your image into Paint and then click on File - Save As - under the option Save as type: choose what should be the last option of PNG and then save it preferable to your desktop or somewhere easily located. That should take care of the size problems.

BMP are really enormous files even very small ones.
